Founded in 1993, Unity Project of Oregon (UPO) works to improve the quality of life in the Black/African-American gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community through social change, advocacy, education and arts & culture.
UPO also works hard to foster a safe and nuturing environment for our constituents, as well as our allies.

Craig Tyson, Chair 
Craig works closely with the organization’s chief executive, staff, and directors to solidify UPO as a community leader in the area of advocacy and social change.
